Stacey Simpson, RDH
HygienistI am a people person and I enjoy working with others! My goal has always been to help people improve their quality of life and overall health. This sent me on the path to OU dental hygiene school where I graduated in 2009 with high honors. In July 2015, I heard of a hygiene position opening in a wonderful town with amazing doctors, and HERE I am! I love my co-workers and patients. I wouldn’t want to be anywhere else!
In my spare time I enjoy riding ATVs with family and friends!

HygienistI am originally from Fort Smith, AR. I have been in the field of dentistry since 2006. I furthered my education at the University of Arkansas-Fort Smith, and became a registered Dental Hygienist in 2009. I had the pleasure of joining the Walker team in December of 2013. I strive to ensure our patients always feel 100% informed and comfortable during their visit. Interacting, getting to know our patients, and sometimes overcoming their dental fears is the most gratifying part of my work.
In my free time, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, and various outdoor activities.

Clinical Office ManagerI have been with the Walker brothers since March of 2013. My passion for dentistry started as a child. After attending Platt College, I started my dental career in 2005 at a small denture clinic in Claremore, OK. However, with a family background in Human Resources, the management of people, helping others, orchestrating controlled chaos, and making things happen drew me to working at the front desk!
The quality, technology, and affordability of dental care we bring to Northeastern Oklahoma is something I really take to heart!
In any spare time I find, I enjoy sewing, crafting, anything DIY, and advocating for Autism Awareness, as well as spending time with my husband and three children.
Maribel Sandoval, CDA
Hygiene CoordinatorI found and fell in love with the field of dentistry almost six years ago! While I was initially hired to only translate for our Spanish speaking patients, I have been given the opportunity to be cross-trained throughout the office! Thanks to the love and support from our two amazing doctors, I am also able to continue to pursue growth in this amazing field!
Outside of work, I attend school in pursuit of becoming a dental hygienist. I also love to spend time with my two beautiful little girls and my loving boyfriend. Together we enjoy being outdoors, skateboarding, cooking, playing games, or watching movies.

Front Desk ReceptionistI began working for the Walker brothers in April of 2014, due to the overwhelming need for translation services for our Hispanic population. From walking in our front door, answering phones, having a dental procedure, or scheduling your next appointment, I’ve got you covered! Dr. John and Dr. Matt gave me the opportunity to be cross-trained to assist in any dental procedure. They had the patience to gift me with everything I needed to know to become a dental assistant. So you will see me in both the front and back office. I love both sides of our practice. Understanding how both sides of the office function is key to the office as a whole.

Dental AssistantI’ve been in dentistry for three years. While trying to provide a better life for myself and family, Maribel started mentoring me into the field of dentistry. Over these years I’ve come to realize that helping people smile with confidence is one of the most rewarding gifts to help give. I’m so thankful to work for such outstanding doctors and I couldn’t ask for a better group of ladies to work beside.
In my free time, you’ll catch me singing with my son, drawing, hiking, and spending time with my extended family.

Front Desk SupervisorI started working for Cooper & Chockley Orhtodontics in 2008, which sparked my love for a healthy smile. I enjoy both ortho and general dentistry, whether it’s assisting the doctors or helping patients figure out the best treatment plan for their oral health. It takes multiple moving parts to keep an office flowing and patient care is KEY! I joined the Walker team in October 2016, I love to see the work Dr. Matt and Dr. John produce, the smile on our patients’ faces says it all.
I enjoy spending time with my husband, Caleb and daughter Ainsley. We love to go camping, hiking, and spend as much time as possible on the river or creek. I co-lead a Girl Scout troop with an amazing bunch of women and girls. We love our downtown area and volunteering at our local festivals. Tahlequah has our hearts!

Dental AssistantI have been in the dental field for 11 years. In June 2017 I had the privilege of becoming a Walker girl! I love being a part of making people smile and feel good about themselves. I am also an esthetician and nail tech which also allows me to help people look and feel beautiful. I am a people person with a passion to see others happy!
When I am not caring for others, I enjoy reading, singing, riding four wheelers, and spending time with my family.

Dental AssistantI chose Dentistry simply because I love working with others as well as being apart of all the different life charging transformations. I had the opportunity to do my internship with Downtown Family Dentistry in June of 2018 and I stuck like glue. I love our office’s family like acceptance even when it comes to patients.
Outside of work I spend my time doing DIY projects, hanging out with my family, and attending my daughters sporting events.

Dental AssistantI am from the little town of Stilwell, OK. Being a dental assistant allows me to help others achieve and maintain beautiful healthy smiles. Dr. John and Dr. Matthew Walker are fantastic dentists to work with. I enjoy working with them and the rest of our team everyday because of their diverse and enjoyable personalities. Everyone works as hard as they can to create an organized, pleasant, and welcoming workplace.
When I am not working, I love spending time with family and friends, playing with my daughter, and going on walks while enjoying the outdoors.
